My love of "urban landscape" began in middle school when we would drive to the city to visit my grandmother. I loved the alleys with all the depth and layers. I started painting buildings and laundromats in college. My work has taken many twists and turns since then but my love of depth and layers has remained.
My work is predominately oil, but I have experimented with resin, glitter, watercolor, and oil pastel. Oil paint is my constant.
Being outside is most inspiring. Whether it is taking a walk with friends or traveling to a city I've never been, being outside gives me the most inspiration.
